CutDex(AI Video Technique Atlas) is a site for people just starting to make video with AI. It explains camera, editing, and post-production techniques with animated diagrams and real-photo comparisons. For every technique, it gathers when to use it, the English prompt to put into an AI video tool, and examples from real films and AI videos.
The explanatory graphics are drawn with code we wrote ourselves, and the comparison photos are the results of an image-generation AI changing only the film, lighting, or style name on the same photo. The iconic-scene parodies are drawings that imitate that scene’s camera technique with our own character. We included only films whose shooting facts are stated in the source.
