Cutting in the middle of a movement so the eye follows the action and doesn't notice the cut.
Wide to close-up at the moment a hand picks up a product or opens a door.
Overlap the same action across the two clips (A: the hand starts reaching out and grabbing; B: closer up, the hand lifting the object). Cut A in the middle of the action, and start B from the same point, overlapping by 2 to 3 frames.
Two-shot sequence: Shot 1, medium shot, a woman in a gray coat reaches toward a brass door handle, hand halfway there, 2 seconds; cut mid-movement to Shot 2, closer angle, her hand grips the handle and pushes the door open into a bright hallway, 3 seconds. Same coat, same warm light, continuous motion across the cut.
